YOUR DAY AS OUR HOME RENOVATION MANAGERAs a Home Restoration Manager, you start your day reviewing project updates and communicating with your team. You coordinate with general contractors, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and safety standards stay on track. When visiting sites, you inspect work, resolve challenges in real time, and foster strong collaboration among subcontractors. Documentation and stakeholder updates keep everyone aligned, and you end each day strategizing for future housing and restoration projects.
YOUR SCHEDULEYou work a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional travel for site visits and team meetings.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of construction management experience, ideally in multi-family affordable housing, market-rate, and hospitality (hotel) developments
- Successful track record of managing projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices; historic restoration required
- Proficiency in contract documents (including AIA), estimating, and project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to foster collaboration in remote environments
- Leadership skills to motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and ensure accountability
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and resolve challenges proactively
Preferred:
- Professional certification (e.g., CCM, PMP)
- Knowledge of Section 3 standards, DBE participation, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates
- Experience with historic tax credits, IBHS Fortified standards, Enterprise Green Communities, and low-income housing tax credits
