The RoleWe're looking for experienced home improvement callers. You call homeowner leads, qualify them, book in-home appointments, and work the ones that didn't sell, every day.
We generate leads for home services contractors and only make money when those leads turn into closed jobs. Our calling team is the step in between: we call the lead, qualify it, and book the onsite so the contractor just has to show up and close.
Day to day:
- Calling new leads fast and qualifying them
- Booking in-home appointments on our contractors' calendars
- Working unsold and cancelled appointments to get them back on the calendar
- Logging every call and outcome so nothing slips
What Makes This Role DifferentAt most companies, you book appointments for one sales team, and the playbook is set.
Here, you'd book for hundreds of contractors, and if you see a better way to call, qualify, or follow up, you say it Monday and we're testing it Wednesday. You'd be one of the first experienced callers on a team that's still being built, and the people who prove it first are the ones who lead it as it grows.
Backgrounds That Tend to WorkPeople from these backgrounds tend to thrive:
- Inside sales reps and appointment setters in remodeling or home services
- Customer service reps or schedulers at HVAC, plumbing, or roofing companies who book jobs over the phone
- Lead coordinators or intake specialists who qualify and route incoming homeowner leads
Backgrounds we care less about:
- Call center agents with no home services experience
- B2B or SaaS SDRs who have never talked to homeowners
- Callers at lead-gen agencies who passed leads along but never booked the appointment
What matters more than the resume:
- You know remodeling and home services well enough to talk to homeowners about their project
- You've booked homeowner appointments at real volume
- You can get a homeowner from "just looking" to a booked appointment without being pushy
- You follow up until it's a yes or a clear no
- You keep clean notes so the next person knows exactly where the lead stands
- You care whether your appointments actually show up and close, not just how many you book
- You treat every lead like it's yours. If one slips, you own it.
- You move fast, because you know a lead goes cold in minutes
- A bad call doesn't throw off the next one
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes
Expectations- 60-70 hour weeks
- Coverage that matches when leads come in, including some weekends
- Real ownership of your calls and bookings within your first 2 weeks
- The process changes fast. What we tell you Monday might be rewritten by Thursday because the numbers told us to.
