Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York or eligible
Home health experience preferred, mentorship provided
Willingness to travel to patients' homes

Responsibilities
Accept and treat patients within designated areas
Provide individualized 1:1 treatment to patients

Plan and implement occupational therapy programs for physical function enhancement
Document initial exams and treatment progress for each visit

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing Homecare team. If you're passionate about helping patients regain independence in their homes, we want to hear from you!
Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area
Provide 1:1 treatment
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care
Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques
Plan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
