As our HIM Release of Information Manager, you will support Release of Information operations across assigned facilities to ensure the timely, accurate, secure, and compliant disclosure of protected health information. In this role, you will help manage ROI workflows, monitor compliance with privacy regulations and client requirements, and partner with leaders to improve processes, resolve issues, and support operational excellence. To thrive in this role, you must bring strong knowledge of Release of Information operations, regulatory requirements, and workflow optimization, along with the ability to drive quality, compliance, and service excellence.
Here's what you will experience working as our HIM Release of Information Manager:
- Support day-to-day Release of Information operations, including workflow coordination, quality monitoring, and productivity tracking across assigned facilities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ROI regulations, state disclosure laws, client policies, and organizational standards related to the release of protected health information.
- Analyze performance trends, prepare reports, and communicate outcomes while identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
- Serve as a resource to internal stakeholders and client leadership regarding ROI processes, issue resolution, escalations, audits, and system or workflow enhancements.
- May oversee vendor performance, as applicable, to support service delivery, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ROI regulations, HIPAA, state disclosure laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of authorization requirements and Release of Information processes.
- RHIA or RHIT preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and support operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $50,461.00 - $114,114.48 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
