Job Summary
The High Availability Mainframe Developer will support mission-critical banking applications by developing and enhancing mainframe applications, resolving escalated production incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting testing and implementation activities. The role requires hands-on Connex ATM/POS experience, strong expertise in Assembler, COBOL, and CICS, and the ability to contribute to a high-availability production support environment. Experience with FIS Systematics and banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance mainframe applications supporting mission-critical banking operations.
• Analyze and resolve escalated production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support application testing, implementations, and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot mainframe application issues and contribute to production stability and high availability.
• Support applications involving Connex ATM/POS and FIS Systematics.
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Connex ATM/POS.
• Strong knowledge of Assembler, COBOL, and CICS.
• Experience in mainframe application development.
• Experience providing production support and troubleshooting application issues.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with FIS Systematics.
