Responsibilities

  • Execute repair orders efficiently according to dealership standards
  • Test-drive and diagnose vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Maintain and repair various automotive systems including engine and transmission

  • Provide estimates for additional repair times
  • Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
  • Carry out other assigned tasks as needed

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Service Technician experience recommended
  • GM Technical Training recommended but not required. We will pay to complete GM Training.
  • ASE Certification recommended
  • A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies

The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $33.80 and $52.00 based on experience and level of training completed.
