Heart & Lung Nurse Practitioner

Fort Worth, TEXAS

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time opening for a Heart & Lung Acute Care or Adult Care Nurse Practitioner to join a team providing comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions affecting the heart, lungs and esophagus. Our surgeons offer complete diagnosis and treatment for a full range of heart and lung conditions, from the most basic to advanced and complex.

Position Details:

  • Full time - 40 hours per week
  • Pre-Post Op Consultation and Care along with Hospital rounding
  • Electronic Medical Records
  • Assessing patient's needs and establishing plan of care

Requirements Needed to Apply:

  • Active Texas license
  • Acute Care/Adult Care Board Certification and Experience
  • Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program
  • 1-3 years of Heart & Lung experience preferred


The Nurse Practitioner ("NP") Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
