Work you'll doThe Health Care Marketing Strategy Manager is a client-facing consulting leader responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of strategy consulting engagements for Health Care clients and their marketing functions. This role combines marketing strategy expertise, consulting execution, and Health Care commercial acumen to help clients address the full breadth of the Chief Marketing Officer's agenda. This person will lead teams that deliver on complex challenges for marketing functions to generate measurable outcomes.
As a Health Care Marketing Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading the day-to-day delivery of strategy engagements for Health Care marketing clients, spanning the breadth of the CMO agenda including:
o Marketing operating model and organizational design
o Customer, patient, member, provider or stakeholder segmentation
o Go-to-market and channel strategy
o Growth and margin improvement opportunities
o Marketing investment and resource allocation
o Customer experience and engagement transformation
o Marketing performance measurement and KPI design
o AI enabled marketing transformation
• Partnering with client marketing, commercial, and digital leaders to define strategic choices and recommendations tied to clear business outcomes
• Translating business and customer challenges into structured analyses, insights, and high-quality, executive-ready deliverables grounded in research and data
• Bringing comfort with the more technical aspects of marketing, including MarTech stacks, platforms, tools, and the implications of AI, to help shape and support broader marketing transformation engagements
• Managing day-to-day client relationships, facilitating working sessions, and overseeing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across workstreams
• Using advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and work quality
• Supporting practice growth through proposals, solution shaping, workplans, and follow-on opportunities
• Coaching teams, modeling Deloitte leadership behaviors, and contributing to an inclusive, high-performing culture

The teamAn evolving customer and regulatory landscape, cost and operational pressures, and intensifying competition are presenting new organizational and operational hurdles for Health Care organizations. These complex market dynamics require new levels of rigor and insight in marketing strategy, operating model design, and the application of new technology capabilities by marketing leaders.
We are looking for practitioners who will work alongside Health Care organization leadership teams to drive business value through the design and delivery of strategies that connect customer insight to business impact.
QualificationsRequired:• 7+ years of experience with a demonstrated history of consulting delivery for marketing stakeholders and related areas of the CMO agenda
• 4+ years of experience working directly with marketing client teams
• 4+ years of experience in the US Health Care and Life Sciences ecosystem, including customer and stakeholder dynamics, commercial operating environments, engagement models and market pressures
• 1+ years of experience incorporating AI into daily workflow and leveraging AI tools to enable and optimize the client experience
• Ability to travel up to 30%+ on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:• 2+ years of experience leading workstreams or projects, including managing scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Comfort with and exposure to the technical aspects of marketing, including MarTech platforms, tools, and the implications of AI (no requirement to design or build technology)
- Ability to connect customer and market insights to measurable business outcomes, including growth, margin improvement, productivity, adoption, experience, or organizational effectiveness
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret research, customer data, market data, financial information, and performance metrics
• Experience presenting recommendations and deliverables to executive stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with technical teams and translating business needs into analytical or technology-enabled solutions
• Experience growing and developing teams, especially practitioners with 0-2 years of experience
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,400 - $322,100
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
