Inside the RoleReporting directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations, you will serve as the senior operational and clinical leader at our Baltimore Health Center. You will go beyond day-to-day management to drive quality metrics, ensure strict regulatory compliance, optimize financial performance, and champion strategic growth.
Your Day-to-Day Impact- Lead and elevate your team: Direct, coach, and evaluate staff, fostering an engaged, high-morale working environment through inclusive leadership and respectful accountability.
- Drive clinical and operational excellence: Ensure all medical care aligns with PPM standards, OSHA, Title X, and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines. You will seamlessly oversee daily operations from scheduling and inventory to quality assurance and lab processes.
- Own the financials: Develop operational budgets, monitor daily cash balancing, ensure proper documentation for insurance billing, and lead health center efforts to hit our revenue cycle goals.
- Champion the patient experience: Serve as the internal and external customer service subject matter expert, monitoring patient surveys, leading service recovery, and launching new service improvement initiatives.
- Strategize and connect: Coordinate with the Community Outreach and Education team, participate in clinical management meetings, represent the center managers cohort on agency-wide committees, and oversee site-based grants or affiliate-wide programs.
What You Need to Succeed- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting (such as ambulatory care, women's health, reproductive health, primary care, FQHC, or community health).
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary clinical teams, driving quality improvement, and maintaining regulatory readiness.
- Current CPR certification required upon hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days.
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle for travel.
- Preferred: Current (or previously held) clinical licensure such as RN, NP, CNM, or PA.
