Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:- Work closely with customers, database administrators, ETL teams,
and project managers to create compelling business intelligence content using
Tableau - Participate in SCRUM teams
- Prototype reports for customers and respond gracefully to
changes in requirements - Create schedules, resource plans, and implementation
documentation for medium -to - large size projects - Ability to work closely with clients at various levels within
the organization - Must be willing to work in Richmond, VA and travel up to 30% of
the time
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:- 2+ Years developing Tableau reports using Tableau desktop and Tableau server
- 1+ Years developing Cognos reports using Cognos Report Studio
- 3+ years of health care experience, especially focused on claims, eligibility and quality
of care analysis - 3+ Years of experience writing free - hand SQL queries. Excellent command of ANSI SQL.
- Solid 5+ years of hands - on overall experience
with Data Warehouse technologies within the domain of ETL / data integration,
Business Intelligence, relational and multi - dimensional database systems - Strong organization skills and ability to set priorities and
schedule work deadlines. - Very good verbal communication skills
- Good written skills and proven ability to produce project
deliverables in a clear and concise fashion - Experience with application development including full life
cycle activities - Mentor and lead other staff that require training and guidance
- Coordinate cross functional resources; experience managing both
direct reports as well as indirect (matrix) personnel - Bachelors or Advanced Degree in a related field such as
Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Analytics,
Business Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in quantitative methods or public health with a
strong quantitative methods background - Excellent understanding of SQL analytic functions.
- Understanding of inferential statistics
- Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of fraud, waste, and abuse detection
- Experience with Teradata and / or other RDBMS platforms
- Experience leading requirements sessions with client teams
