Full Job Description
Every visit to a Zales or Banter store is a chance to be part of someone's milestone: an engagement, an anniversary, a first piercing. We're looking for a leader who can make each of those moments feel intentional, consistent, and true to the brand, in every store. In this newly unified role, you'll bring store operations, visual merchandising and design, store experience strategy, and Banter piercing together into one team. Reporting to the Brand President of Zales & Banter, you'll turn brand and customer strategy into store experiences that look great, run smoothly, and drive results.
What you'll do:
• Lead store operations across both brands, setting clear standards and removing friction so store teams can focus on customers and selling.
• Shape visual merchandising and store design that is unmistakably Zales and
unmistakably Banter.
• Own the end-to-end store experience, testing new ideas in clienteling, services, and digital-to-store integration, then scaling what works.
• Lead the future of Banter piercing, building a roadmap that grows the service and sets the brand apart.
• Represent the stores across Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce, Real Estate, Finance, and HR, and build the business cases for store investments
• Build and develop a multidisciplinary team, and a culture grounded in customer
obsession, creativity, and strong execution.
What you bring:
• 15+ years of progressive retail leadership, with significant experience in store
operations, store experience, visual merchandising, store design, or omnichannel retail.
• A track record of leading large-scale field execution or customer-facing transformation
across a multi-unit retail business.
• Experience taking ideas from concept to pilot to full rollout.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including building business cases and using data to
guide decisions.
• Experience building multidisciplinary teams and developing leaders.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Why join us:
• You'll have the mandate to build something new: one integrated store experience organization for two distinct, well-loved brands, with the scope to shape how millions of customers experience them
