Full Job Description
The Head of Social Media will operate across Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, HR, Legal, and Business Units to ensure ADP shows up with clarity, consistency, speed, and purpose across every priority platform and audience to ensure 360 degree engagement.

Success in this role means building an immersive social engine that is unmistakably ADP: trusted, human, differentiated, useful to the market, and connected to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Enterprise Narrative
  • Define ADP's enterprise social strategy, platform priorities, audience approach, and operating model.
  • Establish the social narrative architecture that connects ADP's brand, thought leadership, product stories, client proof, executive voice, and sales priorities.
  • Ensure ADP's social presence reflects a clear, modern, and differentiated voice across platforms.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into 360 degree social strategies that build relevance with prospects, clients, partners, associates, influencers, and industry stakeholders.


Social Pod Leadership & Operating Model
  • Build and lead the social across strategy, content, growth, social-to-sales, production, advocacy, and performance.
  • Establish clear roles, workflows, governance, creative standards, approval paths, and decision rights.
  • Balance speed, quality, risk management, and brand consistency in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Create repeatable systems that allow ADP to move faster while maintaining strategic discipline.


Brand, Communications & Executive Alignment
  • Partner closely with Brand and Communications to strengthen ADP's reputation, message consistency, and executive visibility.
  • Shape how ADP participates in major market moments, company announcements, launches, events, and thought leadership conversations.
  • Build executive social strategies that help senior leaders show up authentically and credibly in the market.
  • Establish social listening and intelligence capabilities to monitor sentiment, trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.


Sales, Growth & Business Impact
  • Partner with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Revenue teams to connect social engagement to commercial priorities.
  • Define how social supports awareness, consideration, prospect engagement, account-based programs, seller activation, and pipeline influence.
  • Establish a measurement framework that connects social performance to reach, engagement, share of voice, sentiment, traffic, advocacy, conversion, and business impact.
  • Use performance insights to continuously optimize ADP's social strategy and investment.


Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in social media, brand marketing, digital marketing, communications, content strategy, or related marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven experience building or transforming enterprise social capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of B2B social strategy, executive visibility, employee advocacy, social listening, content performance, and paid/organic amplification.
  • Ability to connect social strategy to brand strength, demand creation, sales activation, reputation, and business outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent storytelling, editorial judgment, communication, and leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in enterprise technology, SaaS, HCM, payroll, HR technology, workforce management, financial services, or professional services.
  • Experience leading social transformation for a large global brand.
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
  • Experience building social centers of excellence, newsroom models, or enterprise advocacy programs.
