Full Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to serve as Head of our Retirement and Workplace Business. This executive role will be responsible for establishing and refining our long-term strategy across current and prospective addressable markets, while ensuring strategic vision translates into actionable product development and execution. The ideal candidate will have deep financial services expertise, champion client satisfaction while identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities in the retirement space. Additionally, experience in digital transformation and innovation would be needed to enhance our offerings, reduce industry costs, and empower our clients' retirement business growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership • Develop and refine comprehensive long-term strategies for the retirement and workplace business • Identify and evaluate new addressable markets and expansion opportunities • Ensure strategic alignment between business objectives and product development initiatives • Build and maintain competitive positioning through market analysis and strategic planning • You also provide strong leadership to the organization, establishing near- and long-term goals and ensuring vital talent and resources are in place Business Growth & Development • Drive revenue growth through identification and execution of new business opportunities • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new and existing products • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach • Oversee business development initiatives to capture market share • Go to market - Ensure a singular go to market message that will help grow sales, drive retention, broaden/deepen client relationships. Product Strategy & Innovation • Lead product strategy development ensuring alignment with overall business objectives • Champion innovation initiatives with emphasis on digital transformation • Oversee the digitization of offerings to enhance value proposition and reduce operational costs • Drive product roadmap execution from conception through launch • Product - Build and enhance product across our trading, custody, and communications platform • Technology - Collaborate with Technology on client implementations, product improvements and sustainably executing on product roadmaps Client Success & Satisfaction • Maintain relentless focus on client satisfaction and retention • Develop strategies to help clients grow their retirement businesses • Establish client feedback mechanisms to inform product and service improvements • Build strong relationships with key strategic accounts Operational Excellence • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless strategy execution • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure business performance • Drive operational efficiencies through process improvement and automation • Ensure regulatory compliance across all business activities • Regulatory affairs - Pro-actively monitor regulatory changes and responding to changes Required Qualifications Experience, Skills & Competencies • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field. MBA preferred. • 10+ years of related experience in the retirement or wealth industry. Having a business development, strategy, or product background is a plus. • Demonstrated track record either leading a similar-sized P&L or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated ability and experience leading transformation and managing through organizational change. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfort with communicating with, and advising senior management and external senior stakeholders including regulators, clients and C-Suite executives • Network of industry relationships is important, and engagement with regulators a plus • History of building and scaling business units with measurable revenue growth • Deep understanding of retirement plan administration, workplace benefits, and regulatory landscape • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams • Experience with product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies • The role also includes ensuring that we manage legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to our Trust business. #LI-LR Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $375k-$425k.
