Head of Product MarketingThe RoleHeidi didn't set out to be a scribe company. Scribe was the front door. We're now a connected platform spanning documentation, clinical evidence, and patient comms, and most of the world still thinks of us as the note-taking app. That gap is the job.
You'll create the AI Care Partner category and make sure the market understands what we've actually built, not what we started as. This role sits at the center of product, brand, and commercial, turning every release into a moment the market notices, and every quality bar we hold internally into a reason clinicians and health systems trust us more than the alternative. You'll know you're doing this well when analysts stop describing us as "the scribe company" and competitors start describing themselves relative to us.
What you'll do- Own positioning and messaging for the AI Care Partner category, across clinician, enterprise, and patient audiences, tailored by specialty, buyer type, and geography.
- Partner directly with product group leads to shape narrative and go-to-market strategy for their product areas. Not as a coordination layer, but as the person who names and sells what they're building.
- Run end-to-end launches, from alpha to enterprise rollout, defining tiers, readiness gates, and success metrics.
- Translate complex AI and clinical capability into sharp, clinician-authentic value stories and proof assets, in close partnership with Brand, Field, and Growth.
- Set and enforce market-readiness and quality bars with Product, folding clinician and enterprise feedback into the roadmap early.
- Shape packaging, pricing, and monetisation with Product and RevOps to drive adoption and expansion across PLG and enterprise.
- Build a live competitive and market-intelligence engine, and turn it into sharp inputs for Product, Growth, and Sales.
- Build relationships with analysts, KOL clinicians, and ecosystem partners to build category credibility and awareness.
- Lead and grow a team built around craft: launches, competitive insight, customer marketing, enablement.
- Be the throughline between Product, Brand, and Growth so the market experience matches what's actually shipping.
What you'll need- 8+ years in product marketing, though we care more about what you've shipped/built than years on the clock.
- A romantic streak about software. You believe great products can transform someone's day.
- You've built category positioning from scratch at least once, not just inherited a market someone else defined, and you're comfortable being the person who has to make the call when the data is incomplete.
- Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects.
- You default to building over requesting.
- You're confident in your thinking and open to being wrong. Great ideas win regardless of who surfaces them.
How We Show Up- Build for the next decade, not next quarter. Our targets are outrageous on purpose. The world's health doesn't have the luxury of incrementalism.
- Lead, don't wait. We treat tomorrow's problems today. Sometimes we build what's needed before it's wanted, and we're fine with that.
- Follow the evidence. Trust the patient. We pursue truth relentlessly. But when the subjective and objective disagree, we treat the patient, not the numbers. Ego is a comorbidity we can't afford.
- Own the outcome. Everyone here carries the company. Raise problems with solutions, solve them end-to-end, and never be a bystander.
- Ship, measure, go again. A button today, a workflow tomorrow. More iterations beat better planning. We're precise at pace, not reckless.
- Live in clinicians' reality. Not the ideal workflow, the twenty-patients-before-lunch actual one. We build for exhausted humans, and we'd better be decent ones while we do it.
