DescriptionHead of Industrial and Physical SecurityKey ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Security Leadership- Lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the company's industrial security program in accordance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies
- Directly manage and mentor Facility Security Officers, establishing clear priorities, responsibilities, performance expectations, and professional development pathways
- Oversee implementation and ongoing compliance with the company's FOCI mitigation program, including governance, reporting, access controls, and security procedures
- Serve as the primary executive liaison between the Security Management Official and senior company leadership
- Act as a key point of contact with DCSA and other government security stakeholders on industrial security and FOCI matters
- Advise leadership on security risks, compliance issues, emerging threats, and recommended mitigation measures
- Lead security assessments, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure security policies, procedures, records, and reporting accurately reflect applicable government and contractual requirements
Physical Security and Guard Force Oversight- Oversee comprehensive physical security programs protecting personnel, facilities, classified and sensitive information, and company property
- Maintain effective access control, visitor management, badging, alarm, surveillance, and other physical security measures
- Manage the company's contracted guard-force vendor, including performance evaluation, staffing, service levels, compliance, and contract requirements
- Ensure guard-force operations meet company, contractual, regulatory, and government requirements
- Assess physical security risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures
Security Operations and Incident Response- Oversee investigations and response to security incidents, including unauthorized access, security violations, threats, theft, property loss, and other security-related events
- Maintain security-related emergency, contingency, and incident response plans
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, government agencies, legal counsel, Human Resources, and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Support security awareness initiatives and promote a culture of security accountability throughout the organization
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, National Security, or related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
- 12+ years of progressive experience in industrial security, corporate security, defense contracting, government security, military security, law enforcement, intelligence, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading security programs within a cleared defense contractor or similarly regulated environment
- Direct experience with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and FOCI mitigation
- Experience managing security personnel and overseeing contracted security or guard-force services
- Strong understanding of industrial and physical security, risk management, investigations, and incident response
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership, government officials, legal counsel, and external security providers
- Excellent leadership, communication, judgment, and organizational skills
- DoD Secret level clearance
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience as an FSO, senior industrial security professional, or security leader within a cleared defense contractor
- Experience administering or supporting a government-approved FOCI mitigation arrangement
- Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 and DCSA security requirements
- Professional certification such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), or other relevant credentials
- Prior military, federal law enforcement, intelligence, or national security experience
