Master's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification
Licensed Nurse approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia with National Certification
5-7 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in oncology or surgical care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
See patients in clinic and assist with clinical procedures

Manage post-operative and critically ill patients

Advanced Practice Provider - Head and Neck Cancer Surgery - Piedmont Newnan Hospital
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ENT / Head and Neck Surgery surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Newnan campus. This is an 8 AM - 4:30PM, 5 days per week, position with alternating weekends call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
In this role you will: • See patients in clinic and assist with clinical procedures • Round on patients in the hospital • Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital • Evaluate post-operative patients in clinic • Apply specialized skills to care for patients with head and neck cancer • Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and providing leadership to the organization
