DescriptionHdL Companies is seeking an experienced operating executive to lead its Tax, Fee & Administration business unit. As Vice President of TFA Operations, you'll manage a multi-million-dollar, double-digit-growth business with approximately 155 employees, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This role offers full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and accountability for service delivery, revenue, margin, productivity, and scalable growth.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned private-sector operating executive with a proven track record of leading sizable, multi-layer organizations and running disciplined, scalable businesses. This leader brings specificity to discussions of revenue drivers, labor economics, margins, and profitability, with demonstrated success standardizing processes, building management systems, and improving throughput and quality. Strong people development skills are essential-the successful candidate evaluates managers candidly, builds succession depth, and translates strategy into clear operating metrics and management cadence. This leader excels at driving change in established organizations without disrupting client service, and partners effectively with product and technology teams on automation and process redesign. Executive-level client credibility is critical given HdL's government agency clientele. While experience in tax and fee administration or government technology is valued, actual scale, P&L accountability, and demonstrated operating results matter most.
The salary range for this position is $185,602-$255,000, DOQ.
