OverviewJoin Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a HCVP Quality Assurance Manager.This critical leadership role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Virginia Housing's statewide quality assurance and compliance review strategy for Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project-Based Voucher (PBV) programs administered through Local Housing Agencies (LHAs).
The position will lead statewide quality assurance strategy, establish policies and procedures, and develop review methodologies to ensure compliance with HUD requirements, Virginia Housing policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
The role will manage Quality Control staff, establishing quality standards, overseeing corrective actions, preparing reports for leadership, and partnering with program staff and LHAs to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained statewide.
This position is located at our Glen Allen, VA office.
To be successful in this role you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- Progressive experience in HCV Program compliance (5+ preferred).
- Ability to interpret and apply HCVP federal regulations and program requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, Section 504 laws and reasonable accommodation requirements.
- Experience using and navigating HCV program-related systems and software.
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities, manage multiple projects, and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze program performance, identify compliance risks, and implement corrective solutions.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Experience leading and developing teams, with a solid understanding of employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
