Full Job Description
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer reporting to the Connected Vehicle Project Manager to assist in the development of new electronic modules. In this role, you will play a central role as a technical expert responsible for the architecture, development, and validation of electronic modules. In collaboration with suppliers, software teams, and mechanical teams, you will ensure that the selected solutions meet performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

You will play a key role in technical reviews, the evaluation of component choices, the supervision of validation activities, and the monitoring of prototypes throughout the product development cycle.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Define the electrical and electronic architecture of new products and participate in technical reviews with suppliers.
  • Oversee the development of electronic modules in collaboration with external partners, notably by evaluating component selections, electrical schematics, and the performance of proposed designs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor hardware validation (DVP) activities, and integrate the results into development processes and system requirements.
  • Coordinate electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing, including HIL activities, laboratory testing, and validations performed by suppliers.
  • Lead certification activities for electronic products and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Act as the technical liaison between the electronics, mechanical, and software teams and suppliers to ensure optimal integration of solutions.
  • Manage prototypes and development samples, including tracking prototype pedigree, sampling plans, and validation equipment (harnesses, test benches, validation kits, etc.).


YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electronic product development.
  • Experience collaborating with external design partners or manufacturers.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital electronic design.
  • Knowledge of validation, qualification, and certification processes for electronic products.
  • Experience with test benches, HIL systems, and laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to critically analyze hardware designs and influence technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
  • Bilingualism is essential (French/English).
