Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care & Leadership

  • Provide expert clinical care in all areas of Gynecology, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
  • Diagnose and manage complex gynecologic conditions; perform in-office and surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and colposcopies.
  • Support and mentor APPs (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to ensure clinical excellence and coordinated care delivery.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with staff, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.


APP Oversight & Team Collaboration

  • Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and education to APPs in the delivery of gynecologic care.
  • Promote teamwork and ensure efficient coordination across the Women's Health team.
  • Participate in the orientation, training, and performance feedback of APPs.


Quality & Compliance

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring adherence to regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.


Education & Professional Development

  • Contribute to staff education and continuous professional development within the department.
  • Stay current with advances in gynecologic medicine and integrate new evidence-based practices.


Patient-Centered Care

  • Advocate for patient rights, safety, and informed decision-making.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that emphasizes respect, communication, and education.


Qualifications:
