Job Summary:
The Guidewire BillingCenter Developer will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple functional areas within Guidewire BillingCenter. The role requires strong hands-on integration development and configuration expertise, including commission calculations, invoice logic, document mapping, and payment management. The candidate will work as part of an Agile engineering team to deliver fixes, enhancements, and new capabilities for document generation, support stabilization efforts for existing releases, and contribute to future release development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, troubleshoot, and support integrations with Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Analyze BillingCenter configuration issues and implement appropriate configuration changes and enhancements.
• Configure and troubleshoot commission calculation functionality.
• Support invoice logic, document mapping, and document generation requirements.
• Configure and support payment management functionality and resolve related issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to clarify requirements, investigate defects, and deliver reliable solutions.
• Work as a member of an Agile team alongside engineers, Guidewire BillingCenter specialists, AWS teams, and Quality Engineering.
• Deliver fixes, enhancements, and new capabilities for document generation solutions.
• Contribute to stabilization activities for the initial Guidewire BillingCenter release and support development activities for subsequent releases.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to other team members.
• Support other teams across the organization with Guidewire BillingCenter engineering requirements.
• Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, challenges, and potential solutions.
• Work effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-demand, and highly visible environment.
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting integrations with Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of configuration changes.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting commission calculation functionality.
• Understanding of invoice logic and document mapping.
• Hands-on experience with payment management configuration and issue resolution.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support to other engineers.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Effective and concise verbal and written communication skills.
