Role Mission

The Manager of Client Events is responsible for the end-to-end planning, operational execution, and performance reporting of Client Events across Gucci Americas, with a focus on festivities, store openings, and seasonal launch activations. In partnership with the Senior Manager of Client Events and cross-functional stakeholders, this role ensures flawless event execution, vendor management, budget oversight, client outreach support, and post-event analysis while delivering elevated client experiences aligned with Gucci brand standards and the business objectives across the Gucci Americas store network.

Key Accountabilities

Event Execution & Operations
  • Execute event strategies and activation plans for festivities, store openings, and seasonal launches in alignment with Client Engagement objectives and business priorities.
  • Manage end-to-end event planning and logistics, including run-of-show development, vendor management and coordination, visual tools and fixtures, gifting, staffing, and on-site execution.
  • Develop and maintain master event timelines and project plans to ensure all milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved.
  • Conduct site visits and operational assessments to ensure readiness and brand standards are met.


Vendor & Budget Management
  • Manage all event vendors and logistics end-to-end, including sourcing, onboarding, briefing, negotiation, execution oversight, and post-event evaluation.
  • Prepare vendor contracts in partnership with Legal and support the contractual approval process in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage individual event budgets, track expenditures, process invoices, reconcile costs, and ensure adherence to approved budget parameters.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies while maintaining luxury execution standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Retail Leadership, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Security, Retail Performance, Communications, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless 360° support for all event activations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional deliverables and operational requirements to support successful event execution.
  • Support regional Client Engagement teams and store teams with event toolkits and execution best practices.


Client Outreach & Store Support
  • Provide stores with targeted client lists and outreach tools to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Develop outreach materials utilizing global templates and guidelines while adapting content to local market needs.
  • Create event toolkits to enable regional Client Engagement and store teams to execute events consistently and autonomously.


Reporting & Performance Analysis
  • Track and analyze event performance against established objectives and KPIs.
  • Develop comprehensive post-event recaps highlighting results, client engagement metrics, key learnings, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Communicate event outcomes and insights to regional and global stakeholders to support future event optimization.


Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an experiential marketing or event/production role within the luxury industry with a proven track record of success;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent relationships with top industry vendors and partners;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint: Outlook; Fashion GPS;
  • Deep understanding, knowledge and interest in fashion, culture, and art;
  • Strong management, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop team;
  • Experience working with retail teams is a plus;
  • Excellent analytical skills; with an ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide strategies and solutions;
  • Creative, innovative, outside-the-box thinker;
  • Team player who is adept at navigating and managing cross-functional teams and relationships;
  • Ability to multi-task, anticipate project needs, prioritize deliverables, share crucial information, set, and manage deadlines;
  • Domestic and international travel required.

Salary Range - New York

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $81,000 to $90, 000 USD.
