Job Description
• Perform system level clearance evaluations using whole engine model including hot-to-cold conversion
• Lead design of clearance control system such as ACC, PCC or HCO
• Lead technical systems integration between various gas turbine component design teams

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum 10 years of successful experience in gas turbine
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in GT Clearance
• Experience in whole engine modeling including axial and radial clearance evaluation, clearance control system design experience preferred

Desired:
• Master's degree in an engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Mechanical design and detailed design knowledge of gas turbines and their operation, hot gas component design experience preferred
• Proficiency in one or more computational modeling (CAE) tools such as Ansys, SC03, Abaqus, (NASTRAN, ProE, Unigraphics is plus, but not required)
• Demonstrated ability in working in a cross-cultural team involving members from all across the globe
• Develop Risk assessments (FMEA) and participate in Root-Cause investigations for gas turbine systems
