About the teamT:0's mission is to make finance run itself. We are turning accounting into autonomous infrastructure that closes the books, reconciles, and reports continuously, so the people who own the outcome can stop worrying about busy work and start focusing on strategic decisions. We're a small, elite, builder-focused team inside Airwallex, moving at startup speed with a scaled company's infrastructure and distribution behind us.
What you'll doYour job is to get the right people to our website and keep them engaged once they've raised their hand. That's the whole charter: top of funnel, and lifecycle.
Today almost none of that machinery exists. There's no attribution set up, no landing page library, no lifecycle program, no paid motion running at any real scale. You'll have the opportunity to build it all. You'll be in the ad platforms, in the CMS, in the tag manager, writing the email sequences and reading the numbers the next morning.
This is a hands-on-keys role on a team small enough that what you ship this week shows up in the pipeline next week. You'll work directly with our CEO, Chief of Staff, Product Marketer, and Founding GTM hire.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:- Own paid acquisition. Manage our agency relationship and hold them to results. Own budget pacing, channel mix, creative testing, and reporting. Our Founding GTM hire will help identify which channels are producing; you're the one who executes against that and makes the spend work.
- Build the measurement spine. Pixels, UTM conventions, event tracking, attribution. Right now we can't cleanly answer "where did that lead come from" - that's your first month. Everything downstream depends on you getting this right.
- Ship landing pages and run conversion rate optimization. Build pages fast, test them, kill the losers. You own the funnel from click to signup: page structure, form design, CTAs, and the experiment cadence that improves them.
- Own lifecycle marketing end to end. Design and run the onboarding, nurture, and re-engagement programs. You'll build the sequences, set the triggers, and own the metrics. Messaging gets reviewed before it ships, but the program is yours.
- Grow our distribution. Our Product Marketer writes the T:0 newsletter; you're responsible for the list it goes to actually growing. Same for every other owned channel.
- Own technical SEO and organic social publishing. Site structure, speed, indexing, schema, and getting content out the door on the channels where our audience is.
- Report on all of it. Bring a clear weekly read on what's working, what isn't, and what you're changing. We'd rather see a fast, honest read than a polished one that's a week late.
Who you areWe're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:- 3+ years in growth, performance marketing, demand gen, or a similar hands-on role. We care far more about what you've personally shipped than where you did it.
- You've run paid campaigns yourself - built them, funded them, optimized them - not just sat in the readout.
- You're comfortable in the plumbing: tag managers, UTM hygiene, analytics tools, a CMS or landing page builder. You don't need to be an engineer, but nothing on that list should scare you. We use Webflow for our website and Hubspot for marketing automation right now
- You're genuinely analytical. You can pull a number, know whether to trust it, and say plainly what it means.
- You move fast and you'd rather launch something scrappy today than something perfect next month. This is a team where the bottleneck should never be you.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience marketing to founders or early-stage startups.
- Experience at early stage (pre-seed/seed/series A) startup
- You've built lifecycle programs from zero, not just maintained someone else's.
- You use AI tools aggressively to move faster - research, copy drafts, creative iteration, analysis.
- You've managed an agency or external vendor and gotten real work out of them.
