Full Job Description
About the Role

Range is one of the fastest-growing RIAs in the US, and our Growth team is responsible for building the acquisition engine behind it. We're hiring a Growth Engineer to own the technical infrastructure powering that engine. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, engineering and product, this role will work on a wide variety of projects - from landing pages and experimentation frameworks to data pipelines and ad platform signals. Your work will directly impact revenue by improving conversion rates, increasing signal quality, and enabling faster iteration across the entire go-to-market engine.

This position is based in New York City, and follows an in-office schedule Monday through Friday. If you're not currently located in the area, relocation will be a contingency for employment.

What You'll Do
  • Own the technical implementations behind Conversion Rate Optimization. Build and ship landing page experiments, signup funnels, scheduling and lead routing. Write the JavaScript that powers dynamic content and personalized experiences. Take projects from concept to production without needing a PM to define every step.
  • Run the experimentation system. Build and maintain the A/B testing framework, feature flags, and targeting logic that the team uses to ship experiments across landing pages, signup flows, and the broader funnel. Translate funnel insights into technical implementations that actually move conversion.
  • Build and maintain GTM infrastructure. Architect the integrations connecting our website, CRM, analytics, and ad platforms. Build the APIs, webhooks, and automations that move data cleanly between them. Debug across tools when something breaks - and these systems break in interesting ways.
What We're Looking For
  • 5-9 years in growth engineering, web development with a CRO focus, or a similar hands-on role
  • Strong JavaScript and SQL skills; experience with React a plus
  • Direct experience with CRO and A/B testing - you've shipped tests, owned the framework, and have opinions on what works
  • Comfort building integrations across APIs, webhooks, and the tools in a modern GTM stack
  • Familiarity with tracking implementations: GA4, Segment or RudderStack, server-side GTM
  • A strong sense of ownership. You ship, you iterate, and you find the next problem to work on without being handed it.
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with marketing measurement and a strong understanding of growth concepts.
  • Fintech, wealth management, or other regulated-industry experience
  • GraphQL experience

Benefits
  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer-covered medical insurance for employees (75% for dependents), plus dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k): Retirement savings program to support your future
  • Paid Time Off: Dedicated time to reset and recharge plus most federal holidays
  • Parental Leave: Comprehensive leave policy for growing families
  • Meals: Select meals covered throughout the week
  • Fitness: Monthly movement stipend
  • Equity & Career Growth: Early exercise eligibility and a strong focus on professional development
  • Annual Compensation Reviews: Salary and equity refreshes based on performance
  • Boomerang Program: After two years at Range, you can take time away to start your own company. We'll hold your spot for 6 months - and pause your equity vesting, which resumes if you return
