Full Job Description
The Role:

The Group Product Manager manages a group of PMs, accountable for their performance, development, and delivery against product-line goals. They own hiring and onboarding for the group, set delivery standards, and are the bridge between squad-level execution and product-line strategy.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Manage 1-2 PMs across multiple squads, accountable for their performance, development, and retention
  • Own hiring and onboarding for the PM group including defining roles and running hiring processes
  • Set product delivery and quality standards across the group, establishing clear expectations at each level
  • Translate product-line strategy into squad-level goals and ensure alignment across all PM teams
  • Partner with engineering directors and design managers to align resourcing and delivery across the group
  • Identify talent gaps and build development plans for PMs at multiple career stages
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision making, user empathy, and continuous improvement across the group
  • Report product group health, risks, and progress to Product Leadership
