Full Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Administer financial and administrative aspects of grants and cooperative agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including federal policies, and grant-specific provisions.
  • Monitor grantee financial performance, fund disbursement, and programmatic activities to ensure alignment with approved budgets and objectives.
  • Track, reconcile, and analyze grant budgets, expenditures, and obligations; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support audits, site visits, and internal reviews by maintaining accurate and complete grant documentation.
  • Collaborate with program staff, finance teams, and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure effective grant management.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on grant policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain adherence to internal controls, financial management standards, and organizational policies.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience administering federal grants and/or cooperative agreements
  • Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance policies and procedures.
  • Experience developing, monitoring, and reconciling grant budgets and applying financial management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience supporting compliance reviews, audits, or financial reporting processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and grants management tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
