Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Treasury Management Sales Associate to support Treasury Management Sales Advisors across both the Corporate Banking and Middle Market Banking segments. This role combines strategic sales support, client engagement, and independent sales execution to drive portfolio growth and deliver exceptional client experiences. The Associate will partner closely with Sales Advisors to support strategic client portfolios ranging from Middle Market companies to large, complex corporate relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, treasury management knowledge, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage internal sales processes while independently identifying, managing, and closing opportunities for foundational treasury solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Support & Portfolio Management
• Partner with Treasury Management Sales Advisors to develop and execute sales strategies across Corporate Banking and Middle Market Banking client portfolios.
• Conduct detailed client, prospect, and industry research to identify treasury opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives.
• Prepare relationship reviews, account analyses, pricing proformas, profitability analyses, fee comparisons, and competitive assessments.
• Assist Advisors with annual portfolio plans, call strategies, campaign execution, and wallet share growth initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify cross-sell, up-sell, and treasury product expansion opportunities.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, economic trends, and competitive positioning.

Client Engagement & Sales Execution
• Independently manage the sales cycle for designated treasury products and solutions.
• Conduct treasury discovery discussions to understand client workflows, payment processes, and fraud mitigation requirements.
• Deliver consultative recommendations aligned to client business objectives.

Pipeline Management & Sales Administration
• Partner with Advisor to maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM information.
• Track proposal status, implementation milestones, and follow-up activities.
• Generate reporting and analytics supporting portfolio and business reviews.
• Support achievement of sales goals through disciplined pipeline management.

Treasury Product & Industry Knowledge
• Fundamental knowledge of receivables, payables, liquidity management, information reporting, fraud prevention, commercial card, and emerging payment solutions.
• Stay current on payment innovations, fintech developments, treasury trends, and banking regulations.
• Serve as a trusted resource for clients, Advisors, and internal partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Treasury Management, Cash Management, Commercial Banking, Payments, Treasury Sales Support, or related financial services experience.

Preferred Experience
Banking or financial services experience supporting middle market and/or large corporate clients and complex treasury relationships.

If hired in NY, the base pay for this position is generally between $88,000.00 and $117,000.00 If hired in NC, the base pay for this position is generally between $75,000.00 and $98,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
