Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the team as Vice President, Global Technology Center Communications, who will help shape how the firm's most critical technology priorities reach and resonate with local audiences across the globe. You'll join a team of sharp, engaged and deeply collaborative communications professionals who bring both strategic rigor and genuine enthusiasm to their work. You'll serve as a strategic communications partner to Tech Center leadership while driving the coordination, consistency and execution that turn strategy into action. If you're a seasoned communications professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, stakeholder leadership and operational excellence — and who knows how to make complex ideas land clearly at scale — this is the role for you.

As a Vice President within Global Technology (GT) Communications, you will be at the center of how we operationalize and deliver employee communications across our Technology Centers. You'll translate the firm's technology priorities into clear, relevant communications for local audiences, ensuring our technologists understand what matters most, why it matters, how their work connects to GT's broader strategy and business outcomes, and what actions they need to take.

This role combines strategic communications counsel, stakeholder leadership and flawless execution. The successful candidate will serve as a central connective point between Global Technology Communications, GT’s Tech Center organization and regional communications partners, ensuring priorities are translated into coordinated, actionable and measurable communications across our Technology Centers globally.

You'll work closely with colleagues across GT Communications, the GT Tech Center leadership team, Tech Center Leads and Managers, regional technology leaders and Corporate Center Communications teams to plan, develop and distribute communications that are aligned, timely and impactful. Success in this role requires strong project management, disciplined stakeholder coordination and the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization while consistently delivering high-quality communications and experiences.

Your mission: Ensure Technology Center Communications are coordinated, consistent and aligned to Global Technology priorities, thereby enabling stronger understanding, engagement and execution across our global technology organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the development and manage the delivery of communications that support Global Technology priorities across Technology Centers, managing timelines, stakeholder input and execution while ensuring alignment across GT Communications, Tech Center leadership and regional communications partners.
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to Tech Center leadership, partnering with Tech Center Leads, Managers and regional communications teams to shape messaging, support engagement objectives and advance strategic priorities across the Tech Center network.
  • Develop and execute communications plans that translate Global Technology priorities into relevant, actionable messaging for Technology Center audiences, while ensuring consistency across regions and locations.
  • Partner with GT Communications, Corporate Center Communications and other firmwide teams to create, distribute and amplify content across communications channels, including campaigns, newsletters, leadership communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead communications support for Technology Center events, leadership visits, town halls and engagement programs, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with broader GT messaging.
  • Monitor engagement, feedback and communications effectiveness to identify opportunities, inform future communications strategies and continuously enhance the employee experience.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in employee communications, technology communications or a related field.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across a matrixed organization and drive alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent writing, editing and content development skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications plans that support business priorities and organizational initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, consistency and operational excellence.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence with senior stakeholders across a large, complex organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership, accountability and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience supporting regional, location-based or Technology Center communications programs.
  • Familiarity with technology topics and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling employee communications.
  • Experience working across global teams and contributing to enterprise-scale communications programs.
  • Experience using data, feedback and employee insights to measure impact and improve communications effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, culture and change communications initiatives.
