We are seeking a Global Tech Lead for Salesforce, a hands-on technical leader who can guide a development team in delivering high-quality solutions while ensuring business needs are met. In this role, you won't just solve tasks yourself but will take ownership of ensuring the team delivers exceptional results. You will lead by example, mentor your team, and play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our Salesforce platform. Joining our dynamic developer team located locally and internationally, you will work closely with product owners, business teams, stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals to optimize the Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of Teradyne's Salesforce journey. This role demands a distinctive combination of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. As you will be working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, the ability to adapt your communication style to diverse audiences is essential. Your contributions will directly influence the growth and success of our company. Key Responsibilities As a Salesforce Tech Lead, your key responsibilities include ensuring system security, maintaining governance, and optimizing platform health to deliver a secure and efficient environment. You implement robust security measures, manage user access, and enforce data protection policies to safeguard the Salesforce platform. You also drive seamless integrations and development, connecting Salesforce with external systems to enable efficient data flow and enhance productivity. By leveraging innovative tools, you design scalable solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring smooth planning, testing, and deployment for impactful results. Solution Design - Analyze business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform. - Translate business needs into scalable, technical solutions that align with business goals. - Evaluate users need to identify and implement Salesforce applications that address those needs effectively. System Health Check - Ensure that software and applications remain up-to-date and optimized for performance. - Conduct regular security audits to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks. Documentation - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, deployment guides, and system diagrams. - Maintain a clear understanding of the business's current Salesforce capabilities and integration landscape. Development and Technical Delivery - Develop standard solutions and interfaces using Salesforce tools while ensuring system integrity. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Delegate tasks effectively to team members, ensuring timely and quality delivery. - Guide the team through technical challenges, removing blockers, and ensuring progress. - Supervise system modifications to align with business and technical requirements. - Conduct regular development reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Mentorship - Provide mentorship and technical guidance to develop team members, ensuring professional growth and skill development. - Participate in the hiring process for new developers, helping identify and recruit top talent. - Onboard new developers, providing training and support to ensure a smooth transition into the team. Continuous Improvement - Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce updates, features, and best practices. - Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new Salesforce functionalities to improve the organization's systems and processes. - Keep the team informed and updated on changes within the Salesforce ecosystem. Experience & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical field. - Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in Salesforce.com development, including modifying standard objects and fields, creating custom objects and fields, as well as proficiency in Apex and Visualforce for development, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions - Solid knowledge of Salesforce architecture and data modeling. - Have experience in Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like MuleSoft or Informatica. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $129,400-$207,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
