The Position

Within Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT), our 10,000-plus employees make medicines at sites worldwide from early-stage development through product maturity. Joining Internal Quality Operations at PTQ means becoming part of a flexible, efficient, dynamic network powering the end-to-end delivery of safe, life-saving medicines to patients across the globe.

The Opportunity

  • Co-develop, own, and execute a comprehensive global QC Productivity Roadmap to drive measurable network-wide laboratory efficiency.

  • Lead high-priority global QC transformation initiatives from initial business case development to full execution across manufacturing sites.

  • Drive the overarching digital lab transformation strategy, including the successful continuation and network-wide deployment of the NextLabs project and advanced Quality/IT digital solutions.

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies directly to laboratory operations to optimize sample workflows and accelerate batch release cycle times.

  • Define global QC equipment utilization strategies and coordinate the deployment of digital solutions and automated accelerators.

  • Standardize "One Quality" processes globally in partnership with site leadership to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and resource allocation.

  • Serve as the global face of the QC productivity portfolio, driving alignment across steering committees, site heads, and executive stakeholders.

Who you are

  • You possess a BA/BS/MS degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

  • You bring 10 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, or supply chain management.

  • You demonstrate a proven track record of driving network-wide digital and operational lab transformations in complex global organizations.

  • You are highly skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, project portfolio management, business process management, and organizational change management.

  • You possess strong financial acumen, a solution-oriented mindset, and the resilience to thrive within ambiguous, high-pressure environments.

  • You excel at matrix leadership and influencing without direct authority to align diverse, cross-cultural global teams.

  • You are an exceptional communicator capable of synthesizing complex operational metrics into clear, actionable executive insights.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
