About the role
As a People Partner at Acast, you will combine trusted HR advisory with hands-on operational delivery to support our leaders, managers, and employees across the Americas. Working closely with the Americas People Lead and our global People team, you will translate global strategies into seamless regional execution. You'll serve as a go-to resource across the region, guiding managers through daily people decisions, managing employee relations, and keeping our core HR operations running smoothly.
What you'll do
People Partnership & Coaching: Act as a reliable first point of contact for managers and employees. Provide clear, practical advice on performance, team dynamics, development, and organizational changes, while helping leaders apply People policies consistently.
Employee Relations: Manage ER cases across the region (including investigations, performance concerns, and exits) constructively and early.
Regional Operations & Compliance: Support the seamless delivery of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and promotions). Maintain accurate HRIS data (Lattice and other platforms), partner with Payroll, Finance, and Legal, and continuously improve regional processes.
Performance, Talent & Reward: Support the regional rollout of performance cycles, talent calibration, promotion rounds, and compensation reviews. Enable managers with clear guidance on development and retention strategies.
Projects & Initiatives: Own specific regional workstreams, guide managers through change management, and share feedback from the Americas region to help shape global People initiatives.
Who you are
Experienced HR Professional: You bring 4-6 years of progressive experience combining HR business partnering with core HR operations-ideally within tech, media, adtech, or a fast-paced global environment.
US & Americas Expertise: You have a strong working knowledge of US employment practices (broader Americas experience is a plus).
Pragmatic Communicator & Advisor: You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and balance strategic advisory work with hands-on execution without missing a beat.
Sound Judgment: You operate comfortably in a fast-paced matrix, using strong discretion to resolve issues independently or escalate when appropriate.
Detail-Oriented & Operational: You are structured, reliable, comfortable working with HR data and platforms, and focused on driving continuous process improvement.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
Location: SoHo, New York City (Hybrid)
While we operate with a high degree of trust and flexibility, this role requires working in our SoHo office 3 days per week. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to accommodate this schedule.
