Job DescriptionAbout the role:Lead the development and advancement of Global Patient Access strategies across programs. Ensure strategies align with enterprise priorities, regulatory requirements, and product lifecycle needs, and support timely, compliant patient access globally. This role works with global and regional stakeholders to develop data-driven, technology-enabled strategies and support consistent execution across regions. This role reports into the Head of Global Patient Access Strategy & Operations. This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA.
How you will contribute:- Develop and execute pre-approval access program strategies in partnership with Global Product Teams and Regional/LOC stakeholders
- Turn enterprise and portfolio priorities into actionable, scalable strategies that are consistent across geographies.
- Support the Global Patient Access Strategy & Operations operating model by providing training, tools, and communications, and improving processes for greater consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Use digital platforms, including One Patient Access, to support program execution, tracking, and performance visibility.
- Partner with systems teams to use data and analytics to improve program design and reporting, encourage adoption, and support continuous improvement and scalable delivery.
- Promote consistent, high-quality data across programs and ensure data handling is compliant.
- Represent Global Patient Access on global cross-functional teams and influence strategy, timelines, and execution decisions.
- Align Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Supply, and Commercial teams to support coordinated program delivery.
- Support compliance with global regulatory requirements, internal policies, and standard operating procedures, including audit and inspection readiness.
- Monitor program budgets and resources and use awareness of global trends and best practices to inform continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Required:
- PhD, PharmD with approximately 3 or more years of relevant experience; master's degree with approximately 6 or more years; or bachelor's degree with approximately 8 or more years. Relevant experience is in clinical research or expanded access in the pharmaceutical industry or a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in a health science field, such as nursing, pharmacy, or public health.
- Experience managing expanded access programs.
Travel Requirements:
• Approximately 10% travel is required, including overnight and international travel to Takeda sites and meetings with external partners.

U.S. Base Salary Range:$137,000.00 - $215,270.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
