Global IT Manager

About the Role: Lead Technology. Empower People. Drive Global Innovation. Are you an experienced IT leader who enjoys developing technology strategies but isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and solve problems? Do you thrive in an environment where technology directly impacts business performance, operational efficiency, and the employee experience? Polyvision is looking for a Global IT Manager to lead its internal IT operations, support employees, and help shape the technology strategy for a global manufacturing organization. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the best of both worlds: providing strategic IT leadership while remaining actively involved in day-to-day technology operations. About the Opportunity As the Global IT Manager, you will lead Polyvision's internal IT team and collaborate closely with company leadership and JMARK, Polyvision's managed IT services partner, to develop and execute technology initiatives that support the organization's global operations. You'll serve as a bridge between business objectives and technology solutions, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, efficient, and positioned to support future growth. This role requires a unique combination of leadership, business acumen, technical knowledge, and hands-on problem-solving. One day you may be working with leadership on a technology roadmap or evaluating a major infrastructure investment, and the next you may be troubleshooting an employee's workstation or coordinating a system upgrade. If you enjoy making technology work better for people and businesses, this could be a great opportunity. What You'll Be Doing Technology Strategy & Business Leadership 30 Partner with Polyvision leadership and JMARK to develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives. 30 Identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, security, and overall business performance through technology. 30 Evaluate technology investments, prepare business cases, and recommend solutions based on business value, cost, scalability, and long-term sustainability. 30 Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and technology lifecycle replacement plans. 30 Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to evaluate solutions, negotiate proposals, and coordinate approved technology investments. 30 Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, technology adoption, and operational efficiencies. IT Operations & Technical Support 30 Provide hands-on IT support to U.S.-based employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and access-related issues. 30 Coordinate and perform workstation deployments, replacements, configurations, and employee onboarding technology needs. 30 Partner with JMARK to maintain reliable infrastructure, network connectivity, business applications, and technology platforms across global locations. 30 Lead and coordinate hardware and software migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management initiatives. 30 Ensure technology implementations align with established technical architecture, cybersecurity standards, and support processes. 30 Support cybersecurity initiatives, business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and disaster recovery preparedness. 30 Coordinate technical issues, service requests, escalations, and projects with JMARK to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption. Team Leadership & Global Collaboration 30 Lead, coach, and develop a small internal IT team, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and opportunities for professional growth. 30 Serve as Polyvision's primary point of contact with JMARK, ensuring strong communication, coordination, and service delivery. 30 Collaborate with business leaders and employees across multiple locations and international time zones. 30 Manage technology projects from planning through implementation, coordinating resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. 30 Communicate technology priorities, project updates, budgets, performance metrics, and potential risks to company leadership. 30 Build strong relationships across departments to understand business challenges and deliver practical technology solutions. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 30 Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology and resource management, including experience coordinating IT operations, projects, or technical teams. 30 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. 30 Demonstrated experience leading IT functions, managing technical resources, and coordinating vendors or external technology partners. 30 Experience planning and executing hardware and software migrations, upgrades, or major technology implementations. 30 Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, systems administration, and technology support. 30 Ability and willingness to provide hands-on technical support when needed. 30 Experience managing competing priorities, coordinating projects, and delivering results. 30 Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations. 30 Ability to work onsite in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and travel up to 10% as business needs require. Preferred Qualifications 30 Previous IT leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment. 30 Experience supporting or integrating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP. 30 Experience working alongside a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or outsourced IT partner. 30 Experience supporting technology operations across multiple facilities, geographic locations, or international teams. 30 Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, business continuity planning, and IT governance. 30 Experience developing IT budgets, technology roadmaps, and long-term infrastructure investment plans. What Will Make You Successful? We're looking for someone who brings more than technical knowledge to the table. The ideal candidate is: 30 A strategic thinker who is also hands-on. You can discuss long-term technology investments with executives and still jump in to troubleshoot a technical issue. 30 A business-minded technology leader. You understand that successful IT isn't just about keeping systems running; it's about helping the organization operate more effectively. 30 A collaborative partner. You know how to work with internal teams, outside technology partners, and company leadership to accomplish shared goals. 30 A proactive problem-solver. You identify challenges before they become major issues and take ownership of driving solutions. 30 An effective communicator. You can explain technical topics clearly, listen to business needs, and build trust across all levels of an organization. 30 A people-focused leader. You enjoy developing others, creating accountability, and building a positive, service-oriented IT environment.
