The Global Controller is central to the strength and future readiness of BCE's global finance organization. This leader owns the accounting operations, financial reporting, controllership processes, and flow of financial information that support the CFO, business partners, and stakeholders. The role combines hands-on operational leadership with the opportunity to transform controllership through greater consistency, automation, governance, and decision-ready insight across regions, entities, systems, and functions.

What you will get to do
  • Own the global record-to-report ecosystem, establish the controllership vision, and advance the function toward integrated and automated accounting.
  • Lead accounting operations across the general ledger, financial reporting, internal controls, technical accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit, payroll, fixed assets, tax compliance, treasury, and travel and expense.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and consistent financial results and balance-sheet insights by strengthening processes, controls, data quality, and reporting cadence.
  • Standardize and continuously improve global finance and accounting processes, policies, controls, and reporting practices with a focus on scalable execution and automation.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global accounting team that collaborates effectively and constructively challenges legacy processes and procedures.
  • Lead financial analysis and reporting, including trend reviews, multiyear models, and assessments of accounting treatment.
  • Oversee the planning process, including the annual budget and high-level quarterly forecasts.
  • Be a strategic partner with regional finance teams and key business functions to resolve accounting issues and promote consistent application of accounting policies, processes and controls.
  • Redirect capacity created through automation to higher-value work, including balance-sheet analysis and decision support, and measure the business value delivered.
  • Support global treasury strategy by helping design and oversee banking structures, external financing, and internal funding mechanisms that enable business growth.
  • Serve as the global owner for group audits and partner with external audit firms across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead special projects and other controllership initiatives that support global finance priorities.


Governance audit and compliance
  • Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across the company while strengthening compliance and introducing automated controls as the organization matures.
  • Oversee global tax process and filings in partnership with regional finance teams and tax advisors to support compliance across jurisdictions.


Who you are
  • You are a hands-on global finance leader who can bring rigor to today's accounting operations while building the processes, systems, and team capabilities needed for the future. You balance strong technical judgment with practical business partnership and are comfortable leading across cultures, regions, and competing priorities.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
  • You bring at least 10 years of related professional experience in a controllership role within a multinational manufacturing organization.
  • You have a strong record of scaling accounting organizations, improving processes, strengthening controls, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • You understand intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, consolidations, and eliminations in a global business environment.
  • You have strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, in complex and growing business environments.
  • You have demonstrated success developing talent and building high-performing finance teams.
  • You are collaborative and culturally aware, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams, regions, functions, and business contexts.
  • You bring ERP experience, preferably JDE EnterpriseOne, and consolidation software experience, preferably Oracle FCCS Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud.
  • You are analytical, organized, and solutions-focused, with sound judgment and the ability to set priorities across regional finance teams.
  • You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, identify project risks, and provide practical recommendations for resolution or mitigation.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of related related management experience in a controllership role within a multinational manufacturing organization
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred; consolidation, budgeting, and data warehouse software's
  • years of related management accounting experience, preferably in a global / multi-national manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices in cost accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting, consolidations, and FX
  • Strong integrated business process knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and counsel at all levels of the organization

Salary Range: $220,000-$250,000

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
