Full Job Description
As a Deal Architect at the Senior Manager level, you lead the commercial shaping of large to mid-sized Global Capability Center (GCC) pursuits across an industry group. You own the proposition: what we are selling, why the client should care, and how the deal is structured so it works for them and for Accenture.
You are the commercial face of the pursuit in front of the client. You run proposition workshops, present the value case, and defend the deal structure in negotiation, working alongside the Sales Leader rather than in place of them.
In this role you will:
• Own large to mid sized deals end to end commercially, from qualification through to signature
• Support the Managing Director and Associate Director on the largest pursuits, owning defined commercial workstreams
• Build the commercial narrative and value architecture that shows why Accenture's integrated model is the right answer for this client, now
• Set the pricing envelope and deal structure, then brief the Solution Architect to build against it and review what comes back
• Bring Technology, Finance, Talent, Supply Chain and delivery partners into one coherent offer rather than a set of components
• Identify and develop new pursuit opportunities within your industry group, working with Sales and Client Groups to progress them through qualification
• Coach Managers on mid sized and smaller deals, reviewing their commercial output before it reaches the client
You will work closely with four counterparts on every pursuit:
• Sales, who owns the client relationship and the contract
• The Solution Architect, who designs the solution and owns its economics
• Commercial and Pricing, who build and validate the pricing model
• The Delivery Organization, which brings the capability and mobilizes after signature
Here's What you Need:
• Minimum 8 years' experience in commercial deal shaping, solution architecture, management consulting or pursuit leadership
• Minimum 3 years' experience on large managed services, outsourcing or Global Capability Center (GCC) transactions
• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated experience owning a commercial proposition through to close, including pricing and contracting structure
