As an Associate in Partnerships and Corporate Development – Global Banking, you will support business development, research, analysis, and collaboration across one of the world’s most innovative financial organizations. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic growth and innovation efforts of JPMorgan's Global Bank. The ideal candidate will have a background in technology and financial analysis, with a proven track record of driving successful collaborations and initiatives.

 Job responsibilities

  • Support identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives – including investments - that align with the bank’s growth objectives, from diligence through execution and integration.
  • Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential partners, developing a point of view for senior leadership.
  • Conduct financial and strategic analyses (e.g., business cases, valuation support, synergy assessment, and risk/mitigant articulation) to inform partnership and investment decisions.
  • Prepare presentations for senior stakeholders with a high attention to detail 
  • Collaborate and support senior leadership across product, technology, controls, and legal, to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements and deal terms, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic goals, commercial outcomes, and compliance requirements.
  • Support monitoring and reporting on the performance of partnerships and investments; synthesize insights and recommend actions to improve outcomes.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in technology, consulting, strategy, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex or abstract concepts into clear, actionable recommendations and plans for senior audiences.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solving approach; able to assess competitive landscapes, recognize patterns, and identify emerging opportunities, including within the fintech ecosystem.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to build and manage relationships across cross-functional teams (product, technology, operations) and senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with partnership models and/or fintech coverage
