Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s’effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?

  • Agir à titre de principal point de contact en commerce international pour le site Longueuil, en assurant une coordination globale des activités liées au commerce international au sein du site.

  • Collaborer avec l’équipe GTPS afin d’identifier, d’évaluer et de gérer les enjeux, les occasions d’amélioration et les initiatives liées au commerce international à l’échelle du site.

  • Diriger et coordonner les conseils (councils) locaux de commerce international ainsi que les activités de la communauté du commerce international du site.

  • Agir à titre de personne-ressource pour les audits du site, le suivi des mesures correctives, la mise à jour des cartes de site et la gestion des données connexes.

  • Faire preuve d’excellentes aptitudes en communication, en développement de relations et en jugement professionnel, tout en collaborant efficacement avec les différentes équipes de Pratt & Whitney. Ces compétences sont essentielles à la réussite dans ce rôle.

Qu’est-ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir?

  • Baccalauréat accompagné d’au moins 8 années d’expérience pertinente, ou diplôme d’études supérieures (maîtrise ou équivalent) accompagné d’au moins 5 années d’expérience pertinente.

  • Expérience dans des fonctions visant à assurer la conformité aux réglementations ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), EAR (Export Administration Regulations) et aux sanctions américaines.

  • Solides aptitudes en leadership et en relations interpersonnelles, particulièrement dans le cadre du travail avec des équipes multidisciplinaires au sein d’une organisation matricielle.

  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale. Capacité démontrée à rédiger des communications d’affaires claires, concises et structurées, ainsi qu’à présenter efficacement des recommandations à des parties prenantes clés et à des auditoires exigeants.

  • Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: Manager, Global Trade Site Lead

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Serve as the primary Global Trade contact for the Longueuil site, providing comprehensive coordination across the site.

  • Partner with GTPS to identify, assess, and manage global trade issues, opportunities or enhancements at the physical site.

  • Lead/coordinate site level GT council(s) with the GT community at the site.

  • Serve as point of contact for site level audit(s), corrective actions, site card maintenance and related data,

  • The ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise good judgment and work effectively across P&W is critical in this role. 

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applicable experience; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of applicable experience.

  • Work experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, specifically related to working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be able to develop clear, concise and logically written business communications as well as deliver recommendations effectively to key stakeholders and demanding audiences.

  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, manage crisis, and develop effective networks with internal customers and ability to collaborate with multiple business functions for success

  • Comfortable making quick decisions and exercising good judgment with escalation of issues

  • Experience working with executive level management; Ability to clearly communicate at all organizational levels

  • CORE Apprentice Certification
