  • 4 - 10 years of FDOT Geotechnical Engineering experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct and oversee special inspections and construction materials testing projects.
  • Review and approve technical reports for geotechnical and construction materials testing projects to meet client and regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for all projects.
  • Participate in business development activities including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Full Job Description
NOVA Engineering is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Engineer withFDOT experience to join our Tallahassee, FL location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct and oversee special inspections and construction materials testing projects.
  • Review and approve technical reports for both geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
