Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer looking for an opportunity to lead impactful projects, mentor emerging professionals, and help shape the growth of a thriving geotechnical practice?

Stantec is a global engineering consulting firm dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative solutions. We are seeking a motivated Intermediate/Senior Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our Calgary team and play a key role in delivering complex projects, developing client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of our geotechnical practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of more than 50 geotechnical professionals based in Calgary, supported by a regional team of over 200 geotechnical staff across Western Canada.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological or Mining Engineering, or Geology.
  • 8-12 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or in eligible for registration if transferring from another province.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to live and work in Canada.
  • Residing in Alberta, or willing to relocate.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
