Job Description

Strategic ACI is looking for a Geospatial Analyst to be a member of our team in support of Army TENCAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports geospatial system integration and testing exercises and events.
  • Evaluate 2D and 3D geospatial data formats and standards for incorporation into the Army Geospatial Enterprise (AGE) and future Army systems.
  • Coordinate with AGC stakeholders for development and testing of geospatial data dissemination processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding geospatial use-cases, workflows, and data products utilized by Army Command and Control Systems.
  • Provide data management support to enterprise databases and datasets.
  • Assist with migration, testing, and operation of data dissemination platforms (ex. AGDF, GRiD).
  • Provide research into automated data processing workflows for analysis and product generation of geospatial data.
  • Support evaluation and experimentation of Tactical Servers and Edge Nodes as disconnected geospatial map servers.
  • Support Army exercises and experimentation with coordination, planning, and on-site subject-matter expertise.
  • Support integration and data interoperability testing between geospatial systems (e.g., SGS-V) and Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) architectures, including mesh network data connections.
  • Perform onsite software installation, testing, and troubleshooting in support of Army exercises and experimentation events, both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Assess and evaluate emerging Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) and AI-enabled targeting tools, including test data preparation, output analysis, and formal assessment reporting.
  • Coordinate with Program Offices, industry partners, and Army units to resolve data format, architecture, and connectivity requirements supporting multi-system interoperability.


Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience in engineering, geographic information systems, computer science, or related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with geospatial applications used within the AGE (ex: Esri Enterprise, ATAK, QGIS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Army Programs of Record (IS&A, CPCE, MMC, Nett Warrior, NGC2, etc.) that utilize geospatial data.
  • Expert knowledge of geospatial data formats utilized within the Standard and Sharable Geospatial Foundation (SSGF).
  • Experience developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other process documents.
  • In-depth knowledge of national GEOINT systems and the corresponding architecture within the Intelligence Community, and how they interface with joint and Army tactical systems.
  • Basic understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle to include independent testing and data verification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with emphasis on briefing to obtain decisions and solve technical issues and test plans/reports writing.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, solve problems and perform in a dynamic work environment.


Desired:

  • Experience with cloud geospatial data optimization.
  • Experience working with multinational partners data integration and sharing.
  • Experience with NGC2, mesh network architectures, or similar next-generation command and control data integration efforts.
  • Experience with AI/ML-enabled targeting or Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) tool assessment and evaluation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of exercises and testing events.
