Collins Aerospace is currently in search of a GEOINT Sensor Support Manager/Maintainer. The position is based at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This is a Mission Essential (ME) position and the individual selected must be qualified to support operations under a variety of conditions and impending or active hostilities. In addition, the position supports a USAF worldwide deployable program so the individual selected must be able and ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment's notice.
The position provides technical and engineering support to the PCPAD process, involves comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the sensor, ground components and end-to-end network. In addition, the position assists with mission planning (NAV, collection), system/mission readiness, and mission setup based on associated sensor/sensor kit and any sensor limiting factors currently required. The position also provides direct mission/sensor support by constantly monitoring associated sensors, executing corrective actions within the sensor, sensor biasing, data screening/QC, raw sensor data dissemination to external systems.
What You Will Do- Manage multiple airborne GEOINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at Ramstein Air Base, Germany
- Operate and interface with multiple aircraft, airborne sensors, sites, networks, systems, and operations and maintenance personnel
- Provide sensor and infrastructure troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Identify, resolve, and communicate issues with OAMATS, DMC, infrastructure, enterprise services, other GEOINT systems; support and recommend updates to GEOINT systems, SW, and networks
- Provide technical and engineering support for sensors and networks.
- Manage data encryption changes and implementation
- Monitor the GEOINT system and networks health/status (Sensor, platform, network paths to include crypto, DCGS GEOINT systems, and GEOINT related enterprise services)
- Provide comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the GEOINT systems associated with End-to-End network paths/DGFS systems
- Provide GEOINT process and network improvements/recommendations
- This position does support rotating shifts
Qualifications You Must Have- Employment must be able to obtain German Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) acceptance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date
- Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification
- Experience with military GEOINT domains across various platforms plus their corresponding
- ground station processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED)
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer- Linux (RHEL), UNIX (Solaris) and Windows (10 & 11) system administration.
- Hardware/Storage system administration
- Multiple vendors to include DELL, EMC, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, etc.
- Network system administration (CISCO, Aruba, Juniper, Brocade, etc.)
- Script Language knowledge to include PowerShell, Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, Perl, PHP, etc.
- Cloud computing, virtualization, and configuration management knowledge to include VMWare, containers, puppet, etc.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
