Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA), you will serve as a key member of the surgical services team at Centennial Surgery, a department of CHI Mercy Health-an institution nationally recognized as a Top 20 Rural & Community Hospital. Based in Southern Oregon, this full-time position offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive clinical care primarily in an outpatient setting, complemented by inpatient post-op rounding, within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Please note that this role does not include operating room assisting.

Every day you will provide high-quality patient care, focusing primarily on outpatient clinical management with scheduled inpatient post-op rounding to ensure a seamless experience for those undergoing general surgery services. Best of all, you will enjoy a Monday-through-Friday schedule with weekends off and no call responsibilities, allowing you to fully enjoy everything our region has to offer.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates professional confidence in their clinical judgment while remaining dedicated to ongoing clinical growth.
