Viking Veterinary Hospital is a state of the art, built in 2022, full-service veterinary practice located in Nampa, Idaho, just 20 miles west of Boise. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and medicine to pets in the Treasure Valley, combining compassionate service with advanced veterinary technology. We are a full time, 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care facility, that also houses an exceptional General Practice M-F.

We are looking for a general practitioner but always have opportunities for learning and growth in our emergency department as well. Key Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Active licensure to practice in Idaho, or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and staff.
  • Proficiency in veterinary diagnostic procedures, including interpreting lab results, imaging, and physical exams.
  • Ability to perform routine surgeries
  • A passion for providing high-quality patient care with a focus on positive client experiences
  • A desire to work in a team-oriented, positive environment, where mutual respect and collaboration are key.
