Overview

Job Specifics

  • OSF Medical Group is seeking two BC/BE Neurologists to join a growing and collaborative neurology program serving Rockford, IL.
  • Join an expanding team currently consisting of two Neurologists and two Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Opportunity to perform EMG testing and develop a practice based on individual interests and subspecialty expertise.
  • Support outreach services in Dixon 1-2 days per week, while maintaining a primary practice presence in Rockford.
  • Benefit from a large established referral network and significant patient demand, with a substantial backlog supporting immediate practice growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Neurosurgery and the broader OSF Neurology Service Line, with opportunities to refer patients requiring advanced neurological and neurosurgical care.
  • Enjoy a collegial, team-oriented culture where physicians and APPs work collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.
  • 36 hours of clinical time and 4 hours of administrative time per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate physician preferences.
  • 100% outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibilities.
  • No after-hour call requirements.
  • Excellent support staff including physicians, APPs, nursing, and clinic personnel who function as a unified team.

    • Full-time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $350,000-$380,00. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement,

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
