Full Job Description
About the role

Reunion's PWA, FEOC, and Domestic Content compliance software platform is one of the fastest-growing parts of the company, and we're hiring a General Manager to help lead the charge. You will own the P&L, set the strategy, and build the team and systems that enable it to scale well beyond where it is today. You'll report to the CEO / President, and work closely with the founders.

This is an operator's role. You inherit a product that already has traction with clean energy developers, and your job is to turn early wins into a durable, well-run business. You'll need to get into the details of the product, the customers, and the team, while keeping a clear view of the numbers that matter.

What you'll do
  • Own the P&L. Carry revenue, margin, and growth targets for Reunion's software business. Know the unit economics cold, and make tradeoffs that improve them.
  • Run the business day to day. Set priorities for the team with a focus on sales, marketing, operations, and strategy.
  • Build systems that scale. Put in place the processes, tooling, and reporting that empower the business to grow, from customer onboarding to renewal to escalation handling.
  • Hire top talent, and hold the team accountable. Set a high bar for performance, give direct feedback, and coach team members to accomplish more than they realized they could. Help build a culture of entrepreneurship and ownership.
  • Partner across the company. Work with sales, marketing, and the tax credit transfer business unit to coordinate on shared customers and shared infrastructure to help the team win.
  • Represent the business externally. Be a credible voice with customers, partners, and prospects on what clean energy developers need to comply with PWA, Domestic Content, and FEOC rules.

What you'll need

Must-have:
  • Experience running a business, business unit, or P&L, ideally in software, with a track record of hitting targets you personally owned.
  • A demonstrated ability building operational rigor: clear metrics, clear ownership, and processes that hold up as the team and business grow.
  • You are decisive, direct, and comfortable with accountability, both giving it and taking it. You have a track record of holding teams to a high performance bar.
  • Comfort operating in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain, or the ability to get up to speed on one quickly.

Strongly recommended:
  • Background in clean energy, tax credits, construction compliance, or another regulated B2B software market.
  • Experience running a company or a business unit inside a larger company.

Why join us?
  • Own a full P&L at an inflection point, at a profitable company with real revenue behind it
  • Scale a software business with large market potential; transform manual developer compliance work into a streamlined, repeatable process
  • Work directly with the founders and company leadership
  • Work in one of the most dynamic corners of clean energy financing; your work directly impacts deployment of clean energy infrastructure
  • Cash and equity compensation commensurate with experience, plus benefits including 401k matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Travel to company offsites 2 to 3 times a year to meet teammates in person
  • Flexible PTO plan

Location

We are a remote-first company, but for this role we prefer a candidate located in San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, or Seattle, WA where we have density and offices.
