Operational Leadership: Oversee local branch drivers including safety protocols, warehouse operations, local sales deployment, and customer service teams to execute the Brenntag Essentials go-to-market strategy.
P&L & Financial Accountability: Use financial KPIs to measure and optimize local business performance—specifically tracking volume, gross profit, personnel expenses, and operating expenses.
Margin & Capital Optimization: Improve conversion ratios and working capital metrics (inventory and accounts receivable). Partner with key Strategic Suppliers and Product Management to optimize volume, pricing, and inventory.
Capacity Planning: Formulate comprehensive strategies for plant, equipment, and personnel capacity to meet both current and future regional growth targets.
People Management: Set clear metrics, recruit, train, coach, and manage performance across all branch personnel.
Execute our desire for continued improvement in top line gross profit growth, while improving conversion ratios and working capital metrics of inventory, and account receivables.
Develop a comprehensive strategy to address capacity planning requirements including plant & equipment and personnel to meet current and anticipated growth goals.
Understand and use financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and P&L metrics to measure and improve upon business performance including volume, gross profit, personnel expenses, and operating expenses.
Increase gross margin and gross margin conversion by working with key Strategic Suppliers and the Product Management / Material Management teams through volume, price and inventory management.
Provide leadership and set clear expectations and metrics for all branch(s) personnel.
Recruit & hire, reward & recognize, train & develop, coach & counsel, and take corrective action as needed.
Maintain documented procedures for work processes by working closely with branch personnel as well as Sub-Region, Regional and BES Divisional resources.
Education: BS in Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or Finance.
Experience:
