What You'll DoA Client Partner builds close relationships with a portfolio of clients for a specific industry by engaging and understanding their strategic priorities and business objectives; client partners have responsibility to build business from origination through delivery excellence. This role will be accountable for the healthcare portfolio across the South Central market. Geographically, South Central covers Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi. The primary responsibility will be focused on building business within the provider sector in Nashville, TN.
The main responsibilities are focused on selling Slalom's consulting and technology services, creating a portfolio and specific account(s) strategy, building meaningful relationships, delivering solutions and leading teams.
- Seen as a trusted advisor with experience and relationships at the C-level of healthcare organizations
- Build and execute a portfolio growth strategy with primary focus on the Nashville healthcare market
- Establish and expand Slalom's presence within provider organizations
- Partner with clients to influence both business and technology direction, identifying where consulting and services can drive impact
- Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Slalom offerings within healthcare and adjacent areas
- Drive business development, including shaping and closing opportunities (SOWs, proposals, commercial structure)
- Maintain and build Slalom's footprint across assigned account(s), with a strong emphasis on net-new logo development and expansion
- Maintain awareness of healthcare industry trends, especially across provider systems, and understand how Slalom capabilities align
- Manage and coach teams across multiple engagements, typically 2-10+ consultants
- Build $3M+ of new business and lead a portfolio of $10-20M
- Maintain a utilization target of 20% by actively leading delivery quality and outcomes across engagements
What You'll Bring- 15+ years of experience in account management, delivery leadership, and/or client-facing consulting roles
- Strong background in healthcare, with deep experience supporting provider organizations
- Strong understanding of the Nashville healthcare ecosystem
- Proven experience working with C-level clients
- Experience in consulting or consulting services, with the ability to connect strategy to delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute growth strategies and account plans in a complex market
- Proven track record of business development, including net-new logo creation and expansion within existing accounts
- Experience owning or contributing to P&L, revenue growth, and portfolio performance
- Ability to operate as a seller/doer, balancing origination with hands-on delivery leadership
- Strong understanding of how consulting services translate into measurable client outcomes
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving, and decision-making skills

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Director Client Partner is $186,000 to $298,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
