Job SummaryNorth American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a
General Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and direct the operations of an assigned production area in the manufacturing facility, including safety, quality, productivity, and all related personnel.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour Priorities- Leads and directs department supervisors with respect to the volume, cost, and quality of their production area, and in meeting both production schedules and delivery dates.
- Promotes the efficient utilization of equipment, facilities, personnel, and raw materials.
- Prepares and maintains production reports.
- Works with the Plant AGM to develop goals, standards, and work schedules for the production area.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards throughout areas of responsibility.
- Manages departmental budgets and operations, including recommendation of capital equipment.
The salary range for this position is $68,500 - $118,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.RequirementsYour BackgroundEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, or a related discipline, plus 8 years of manufacturing experience or 5 years NAL manufacturing experience OR
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, or a related discipline, plus 10 years of manufacturing experience or 7 years of NAL Manufacturing experience OR
- High School or GED, plus 12 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
