Job SummaryCapgemini is seeking a GCP Cloud Champion to support Financial Services clients within its Google Cloud practice. This role combines solution architecture, client engagement, and delivery leadership. The position requires strong communication skills, hands-on GCP experience, and the ability to work directly with clients across pre-sales and implementation phases.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client discussions and solution development
- Design and lead implementation of GCP-based solutions (migration, modernization, cloud architecture)
- Act as a client-facing architect supporting Financial Services engagements
- Collaborate with delivery teams to execute cloud projects end-to-end
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional and global teams
- Support development of GCP capabilities and reusable solutions
Required Qualifications- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in cloud architecture, migration, or modernization initiatives
- Exposure to pre-sales, solutioning, or stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with Financial Services clients (banking, insurance, capital markets, or trading)
- Ability to work with distributed/global teams
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in consulting or IT services environments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and DevOps practices
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures
- GCP certification (nice to have, not required)

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $160,000 - $200,000/ yearly.
